About this store
Damansara takes the I don’t care spirit and makes it personal. Its brief is written as an invitation: kick off your shoes. This is where comfort doesn’t try too hard. A little messy, a little magical — exactly how life should feel.
The main gallery is terracotta, cut with rounded frames that read like softened windows. Every weave and colourway hangs inside them at eye level. In the middle of the floor, a column of hinged fabric panels turns like the pages of a book, so you can compare two cloths by swinging one against the other. Straw and dried grass are stacked against the finished walls — a reminder of where the fibre started.
Then the room at the back. The experience room is lined floor to ceiling in bordeaux carpet, with mosaic tile and a bed raised on a platform. The effect is deliberate: this is what a room looks like when it stops apologising for having a mood.
The design idea
I Don’t Care. Welcome to my room.
The Southkey idea, made personal and given a door. Three stated pillars: the fabric wall as the focal point on entry, a statement sculpture for visual intrigue, and the neutral brown, off-white, black and white palette.

Rounded-rectangle niches
The fabric frames read like softened windows, cut into terracotta walls.
The fabric carousel
Hinged panels on a rotating column, turned like the pages of a book.
The red room
The experiential bedroom is lined floor to ceiling in bordeaux carpet — walls included — with mosaic tile and a raised bed platform.
Raw origin displays
Straw and wheat bales set against the finished interior.
Do Not Disturb
A framed board of every colourway, and a door-hanger detail carried through the decorative items proposal.
